Coach Chris nelsonBorn in 1973 played Baseball and Football at Morse High School in San Diego. He was offered draft by Houston Astros his Senior year but decided to furthur his education at San Diego Mesa College where he received an Associate's Degree. He was offered draft after his Sophomore season by the San Diego Padres but continued his education with Oklahoma State Cowboys where he was a Starting Pitcher on a scholarship. He was offered draft by the Florida Marlins at the end of his Junior season and signed with Oakland A's his senior year.

Coach Corey ANDRADECorey is our strength and conditioning coordinator. Leading our teams in weight training, position
specific conditioning, flexibility, and overall health in our athletes. Corey is a former professional baseball player where he had stints in both the United States and Mexico. He graduated with multiple degrees, including Sports Management with a concentration in coaching. He is now a certified master trainer through the ISSA. Corey brings a challenging outlook, which will drive our athletes to reach their peak performance. We are excited for him to join the Arizona Smashers Baseball and Softball Academy. |
Coach Tobias priceTobias A. Price was born Aug 11. 1974 in San Diego, CA. He attended Lincoln Prep High School where he played football and baseball. He was awarded best pitcher two years in a row, most strike outs, most home runs, most RBI's and his greatest achievement in high school was being awarded the Coca Cola MVP. Tobias caught the attention of baseball scouts during his senior year of high school and at just 17 years old, was the 13th round draft pick for the Baltimore Orioles. He later went to play for.... Chillicothe paints, Yuma Desert Dogs, North Dakota Rattlers, Altoona Rail Kings, Catskill Cougars, Huntington Rail Kings, Lafayette Bullfrogs, Yuma Bull frogs, and Country of San Marin

Coach Angelo lomeli“Coach Angelo started as a national youth baseball instructor traveling the country coaching day camps and clinics for elementary-high school aged athletes. He now coaches at the high school level with a focus on infielders and pitchers but as a former utility player can provide helpful insight at all positions. His main message to young athletes is to focus on mindset, effort, and attitude. That will make the game of baseball easier and much more enjoyable.”

Education: Brittany JimenezBrittany is an instructional coach for teachers. She began her career in education as a middle school Math teacher in Glendale in 2006. She taught middle school math for 6 years before coaching teachers. She has been a master teacher and instructional coach since 2013.
She graduated with honors from Arizona State University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She also received her Master’s Degree from Grand Canyon University in 2013 in Educational Technology. |
